Description of the assignment
The purpose of the assignment is to assist the current head of the bank`s product specialists during a time when this manager will be assigned to another position within the bank and thus require relief. As a result, the role is a hybrid of WoW-coach, PO, and Scrum Master.
The current manager will continue to serve as personnel manager, and the purpose of hiring a consultant is to provide relief in daily tasks while also contributing experience in agile working methods and driving a certain amount of change management within the group.
The following are some examples of tasks that the consultant might perform:
Create a clearer methodology for illustrating needs vs. available capacity over a four-month or upcoming sprint, for example - capacity planning.
Assist employees with prioritization and methodology, and encourage them to think in terms of "greatest value first," or MVP.
Actively work to motivate, support, and develop the team.
In cases where the workload is excessive, assist the team and suggest measures.
Actively work with individuals on their ability to lead themselves, prioritize, and set structure in their daily lives.
Take part in sprint planning, stand-ups, and weekly reconciliations for each product area.
